Chefs and Cooks and... Chefs gather here at the Kitchetorium to do battle against one another for the coveted title of Feast Master


AUDITIONING

~ There will only be 16 entrants.  

~ If more than 16 auditions are received, The Judges will decide who will make the cut.

~ Any medium will do.  (Best of luck to you writers though.  It'll be HARD)

~ Since this is an OCBZ sponsored event, an OCBZ Character Reference sheet will be required. Instructions on how to do this can be found Here

THE TOURNAMENT

For each round,  Contestants must present their character creating 3 dishes using their assigned "Secret Ingredient" that is better than their opponents. THIS IS THE ONLY REQUIREMENT FOR A WIN SCENARIO.  The Galaxy is a large place, and the Kitchen, a dangerous place.  There's no telling what may happen to a careless chef during a round.

IN THE STORY ROUNDS- It follows the same format as Iron Chef Japan.  It's way over glorified, and very ceremonious.  Each contestant has 1 hour to create 3 dishes that are way more awesome than the other contestant's.

For Match Up, contestants will be assigned a Secret Ingredient specific to their round.  The secret ingredient will be revealed at the time of the match up.

For each Round,  3 special "Guest Judges" will be introduced.  These Judges are the ones that will be evaluating the contestant's dishes IN THE STORY. As in, they are NOT judging your comic/animation/written piece/interpretive dance.  If they were, I'd be a very powerful man.

The Contestant who's entry scores higher in the Judged Categories will be declared the winner and move on to the next round.

PRO TIP:  Actual cooking knowledge REALLY isn't required in this tournament. It's really about how creative you can be, and your ability to tell a story.  Food is merely the plot device.

~ The Judging Criteria is as Follows

1. Entertainment Value - Was your Entry awesome? Fun? Funny? CREATE FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT!
2. Creativity - How well did you use the Secret Ingredient?  Were the judges accurately portrayed? Or did your Entry involve The Character's long lost father, and the won by summoning an "Ancient Power".
3. Art/Writing Quality - Was your Entry Awesome like Iron Man?  Or a piece of crap like Wolverine?

~ Judges are not obligated to deliver critiques.  If you REALLY want one, then You probably want one bad enough to send the judge a note asking NICELY for one.

I have been notified by the Headmaster of OCBZ, that OCBZ ranks will be awarded depending on the round you have advanced into.  If you are not concerned with OCBZ rankings, then you can probably skip this part.

Round 1 winners: 1 rankup
Round 2 winners: 5 rankups
Round 3 winners: 10 rankups
Round 4 winner: 20 rankups

FAQ

~Q: I don't anything about cooking!

~A: Don't care.  Make stuff up.  It's about how much you BLUFF and how entertaining your entry is.  Also, don't forget to make SOMETHING.  At least 3 dishes.

~A: Yes.  He is present for every round, Unless otherwise noted in your storyline.  He along with the 3 special guest judges will be the judges IN STORY
